Golf equipment

Among other things, a golfer must have certain pieces of golf equipment if he wants to be successful on the course. Some of the kinds of golf equipment a beginning golfer may need include:

• Golf clubs – Needless to say, golf clubs are a necessity for any golfer. Although an experienced golfer might be able to golf with as little as 3-4 clubs, most beginning golfers should have a full set. These individual clubs can help a golfer make the shots he wants to make.

• Gloves – Gloves are especially important for beginning golfers whose hands have not yet acclimated to swinging a golf club. Beginners who swing without gloves are prone to quickly get blisters on their hands. However, those who wear gloves are able to protect their hands from getting blisters.

• Tees – Golf tees are always used by golfers when they set up their drives. Although most of these tees are made of wood, there are some golf tees that are made from processed grass and mud as well as other biodegradable materials.

• Extra golf balls – Although it is wishful thinking for a beginning golfer to go out and play a round with just one ball, the fact is that this almost never happens. All golfers – and especially beginning golfers – need to have several golf balls in the golf bags in order to ensure that they always have a backup ball if one gets lost in the brush or falls victim to a water hole.

Each of these pieces of golf equipment are necessary for beginning golfers, however this list is far from all inclusive.
